Ramona VNA & Hospice is a community-based, non-profit agency providing home health and hospice services to Southwestern Riverside County, California since 1987.  With branch offices in Hemet and Sun City, our staff cares for those residing throughout the Hemet/San Jacinto, Sun City/Menifee and Temecula/Murrieta valleys.

As a long-time resident of the community, I am proud to lead the pre-eminent home health and hospice agency in the area. This organization has been a leader in clinical excellence and patient care, in the pursuit of advanced education and certification by staff, and in service to the community as a non-profit provider of programs and services for over
20 years.  Numerous commendations have been awarded to our staff demonstrating their excellence: 

Three certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses (WOCNs) and specialty trained Wound Care Nurses (WCCs) provide advanced care for patients with difficult or complex wounds

Medical Director Dr. Leslee Cochrane received the prestigious Homecare Physician of the Year award by California Association of Healthcare Services at Home (CAHSAH) in 2006, and  Dr. Leslie Stevens, Hospice Physician, was presented with the 2008 award in recognition for her outstanding patient care

Mauri Ysaguirre, Home Health Director, was recognized by CAHSAH with the 2008 Home Health Supervisor award

Both Dr. Cochrane and Dr. Stevens, full-time physicians at Ramona VNA & Hospice, are certified by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine

An extraordinary 84% of our Agency's registered nurses are voluntarily certified by the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses
