CoP's for Docs
 The “CoP’s for Docs,” by Carol A. Wood, BS, RN, NHA,
CFN, was created to provide physicians and their staff an overview of the Medicare
Billing Guidelines for hospice along with the standards and regulations governing
the provision of hospice care in California. A quick reference guide with
answers to frequently asked questions, this tool will assist physicians and their
staff in determining their role as it relates to the hospice patient, and provides
a reference to billing and coding to help physician offices receive payment for
services provided to the hospice patient.
