A True Story about hospice care
Night nurse Sue Kaufman, R.N. received a call one night from a woman who
needed help.  Sue could not find the woman's name on RVNA's hospice patient
list, but the woman assured her she was a hospice patient.  Eventually, Sue
Kaufman discovered the woman was being treated by another hospice.  Sue
tried to call their number and the first time the phone just kept ringing.
She called again and got a machine that routed her to someone's voicemail.
Sue went on the internet and found their headquarters and called them.  That
was in New Jersey!  The man she spoke to was not helpful and said he
couldn't do anything.  Sue called the lady back and found out that the
problem was with her oxygen equipment.  Sue learned that the other hospice
uses the same oxygen equipment company that RVNA uses, so Sue called the
company and got the problem corrected. The woman was very grateful for Sue's help.
Don't risk poor care. Tell your physician that you choose Ramona VNA and Hospice for end of life care.
